Presenter: Travis Bensing
Location: Room A14
Target Audience: All Educators
Session(s) Offered: Session 2
Description: Flipped learning provides many benefits to both students and educators. This session will give you all of the practical advice that you need to get started. The most common concern from educators about flipping lessons is that the students will not do their part in this learning process and therefore will not be prepared for class. This session will address this issue about holding students accountable and empower you to get the most out of your students. The remainder of the session will be dedicated to showing how you can potentially use your newly gained class time to do learning activities that require more higher order thinking and how you can use the Instructional Technology team to help you achieve your goals.
