Educanon is a free site that allows teachers to create multimedia quizzes. It has capabilities that are very similar to EdPuzzle. However, audio specific quiz questions are not available on this program. Blubbr is a free site where teachers can create quizzes with video. Question types are limited to multiple choice. Students get instant feedback. This is a more informal formative assessment because there is no login for students and therefore teachers can't monitor the results through the site when students complete the quizzes. This would be used more for individual practice. Ed Puzzle is a free site that allows users to create quizzes with audio and video. Teachers can create a video or use one that is already online. The teacher can then choose specific times throughout the video to place the questions. Question types include multiple choice, open ended, or fill in the blank. Teachers can have options for how feedback is displayed. Teachers must create classes and give students a code to join the class so that the teacher can track the student work. |
